Gil Cameron: is a former racing driver of much repute who has a genuine passion for all things mechanical. He entered the motor industry world as an apprentice mechanic at the age of 15 years even gaining the Apprentice of the year award.
His achievements include Formula 5000 (Australian Formula 1), Sprint Car, and Auscar racing as well as building vehicles for the London to Sydney Rally, V8 Ute series, Classic Adelaide, Targa Tasmaina, Targa West, Buller Hill Climb, Red Centre Rally just to name a few.
Gil is the chief founder of Road and Track, starting and remaining an intergeral part the business since the 1970’s. His wealth of knowledge is second to none. He likes a challange. Motor cars are his life.
Steve Monk: Steve was an employee of Road and Track some years ago. After working in a variety of other mecanical repair businesses, including a shop devoted to prestige vehicles such as Land Rover, Aston Martin, Maserati, and Audi just to name a few, he has returned to the fold and become an integral and important part of Road and Track in just a few short months. His hard work has been rewarded with him becoming a new business partner in Road & Track

He has interests in Vintage Speedway racing including Vintge Speedcars and Motor Cycles.
Gillian Shippen: As the owner of Road and track for the past 15 years, along with Gil, she was actually employed elsewhere during those years. After being made redundant at her previous employment she has now come into the fold on a part time basis to help out with part runs and IT person. She also will be running a sideline business from the workshop devoted to Behaviour Enrichment for pets and also mobility aids such as pet wheelchairs – check out her website and facebook pages:
